Final November Birthday Card

Hi there!

Wow, it is hard to believe we are almost out of November already. This has been a crazy month!

Apologies for not posting yesterday, OH and I went out for a bit of birthday shopping for me (yay!) and as I mentioned the day before (in my last post) all I am now doing at the moment is working on the BIG Project, which is now a slow going process due to volunteering. (Which also went well).  I am however working really hard and hope that it will at least be finished by Christmas so we can enjoy looking at it – even if we miss out on using it this year! I do also have a few other baubles I want to make, which aren’t quite as time consuming, so fingers crossed this will all get done too….

The end of November for me is kind-of marked by my birthday, which is on Monday, though the week ahead of this is one full of birthdays and other events for other people. I have made several different cards this month – something I really enjoy, and love experimenting with.

The final card I am making for this month, is one I made for OH’s Grandad, it is his birthday today and this is it: The lettering at the top was not as straight as I would like, but alas the problem with using peel offs is that once you have stuck them down, you can’t do much about it without risking further damage! It looks good though, and I am proud of the way it turned out. As is OH who has now written the card and sealed it into an envelope!

As for me, I am back volunteering again today, and looking forward to my second day. My evening will be spent dutifully cross-stitching my advent calendar square and also working on a page for my scrap-book! Aha kept that one quiet huh!! OH and I went to the Eden Project on Tuesday, and I didn’t take many pictures, but it was a great afternoon and I want to make a page for it! So hopefully I will find some time to work on this too!  Ever busy!

I hope everyone is having a lovely week, and as ever do feel free to leave a comment to share anything you are working on (links accepted) both here or on the Thisisthecraftyone Facebook Page.

Happy Crafting!
